Architect and Construction Together?

We often hear couples say they could never work together in business with their spouse. This is not the case at Riverside Design and Build, LLC. Marc and Michele both bring their own unique skills to the table.

Marc Vandenhoeck has worked in all facets of the real estate and construction industries for over thirty years. His undergraduate and post-graduate education at NYU and Carnegie Mellon University in architecture, philosophy, and urban design give him a unique and sophisticated perspective. His passion for building, along with his depth of knowledge, has resulted in meticulously crafted, award winning projects for Riverside Design and Build, LLC's clients. Michele will tell you, when he is not on a construction site, Marc is an avid hiker and swimmer, as well as a talented chef.

Michele Rudolph received her Bachelor Of Architecture and Master of Architecture at Tulane University where she was awarded the Goldstein Prize. She has been practicing architecture for over thirty-five years, and has headed her own firm since 1990. Her interest in Art History and Studio Art has led her to study over the years at the San Francisco Center for Architecture and Urban Studies, the Arts Students League, and Silvermine Guild Arts Center. Marc will tell you that Michele's philosophy is one that seeks to develop a home design/build based upon our client’s goals, context, sustainability, and cost considerations.

The unique pairing of these complimentary talents provides a synergy that adds up to far more than just an architect and a builder. Marc and Michele's ability to work together so effectively to make their clients happy is founded upon a marriage based on mutual respect and love. At the end of the day, their clients must be happy in order for them to be happy with each other.
